My 5 year old grandson watches Animal Planet every day ,he loves to watch the Croc Hunter he does not understand that he is gone he says that he is on TV he is not gone, he watches him with so much excitement and love for what he does . Thank You for keeping his shows on my grandson looks for them everyday .i wish we could find videos of them .Our deepest sympathy to all of his family and friends.GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU

Australia still continues to grieve
We lost a mate who loved and cared
for a land of beautiful wildife and nature that us Aussies share
Young at heart and a funny family man
this guy was a true blue Aussie and would lend a helping hand
From Queensland where he lived at the zoo
to LA to collect his many awards
the ocean was also his other love
where he would ride waves on his board.
You are a true Aussie ledgend
it is hard to believe that you have gone
you will always be in our aussie hearts Steve

i hated watching animals and that kind of stuff but my sister liked watching them and she is a big fan of the crocadile hunter i stared watching the crocadile hunter just 3 months before steve irwin died i became a big fan of him and wished to meet him one day but just 3 months after i started watching his shows he died i wish i could meet you some day R.I.P STEVE IRWIN

When i heard on the radio i was heartbroken ! i wish i got to meet you, what an inspiration !!! i watched you on crocodile hunter and well you were amazing !! Just wish the best for your family ! i no your looking down on them and looking out for them !! There very proud of you :) Just only wish you were still alive to watch them grow up and amaze more people But , R.I.P x we all love you , x

I loved Steve Irwin so much, and still do. I just want to say that I thank you for being an awesome light unto the world. Not that I hadn't always respected, loved and stood up for Nature, but you really taught me a thing or two. On the 13th of January, 2008, I visited Australia Zoo for the first time ever, sheded a few tears and took ten tonne of photographs, it was truly amazing and a memory that I will have with me f0r a hell of a long time, I also was one of the lucky ones as I got to meet Terri, Robert (son), and also Bindi Irwin, guys you have done such a fantastic, fanfabulus job. Thanks heaps, Love Ashley B Bennett. xxx

I remember sitting with my pop watching u on tv loving every bit of what u do!! u wrer great the way u wrer with the crocs i could not belive it u were amazing, and that moment with the arangatan i cryed it was beautiful. when i heard u had been taken from as i was at work behind the bar an stoped to turn up the news i was deverstated it was like apart of me was gone too. i did try to meet u but the time i went in 2000 u had been bitten by a croc an could not come out so terri did, the was ok but i just wonted to see da croc hunter do it for real! then the next time i came to da zoo u were all away, an now its too late all i have is me dvds and books memorys which i will tresure 4ever! RIP

Steve i only had 2 wishes one wish was to meet you that never happened but it did in a way i would watch you every day but the first time i went to the austalian zoo i tried to look 4 you and thats when i heard you were dead i cried my self to sleep for 5 months i will miss you MY HERO CRIKEY I WISH I CAUGHT A CROK JUST LIKE U and i no bindi will keep up what her father did brigitte 12 years old xoxoxo your my big teddy bear

Steve i cried my self to sleep every night for a month thinking i never meet you but i no you Bindi will keep up the great work in the zoo steve i had 2 wishes one widh was to meet you but that never happened im 12 now and i think how brave you are i love you steve brigitte x0x0x0 australia dolphins can swim away from danger but sad memories stay with you for ever but a love memory like have for you stays forever no matter what happens !

I enjoyed watching you on your documentaries and how you always show affection for the animals you worked with. You are the greatest man that has ever lived. The work that you did with the animals was so amazing. You stood up for the animals rights and if they were in need of help you helped them. You are a hero not only for me but other people as well. I respect the work you have done to save the planet, its animals and their habitats. I cry because you are gone, but I am happy that your family continues the efforts you have begun.
